                    A trip to Anuradhapura




It was last February.My family members and me planed to visit Anuradhapura for two days.We went there on 14th of last February in a van.first of all we went to the Mahiyangana temple.Then we went to see the Dambulla Raja Maha Viharaya.after that we went Anuradhapura.Then we had our lunch near the tank bund.We bathed from the Nuwara tank.We disscussed to spent the night at a Ruwanwali Maha Seya's pilgrimage hall.We had breads and dahl curry to our dinner time.We went to sleep.Next day we got up early in the morning and we got ready to visit other ancient places as jaya Shri Maha Bodhiya,Mirisawatiya,Thuparamaya,Mahamewnawa,Abhayagiriya etc.And also we saw the noonstone and the Kuttam pokuna too.Then we went to worship Jaya siri maha bodhiya and we held a bodhi pooja to bless everyone aroud us.We admired the natural beauty of the Anuradhapura area.We took many photographs and we came back home.It was an unforgettable journey.
